Sohail Altaf, an elected Non-Executive Director, has previously served as NED on the Company’s Board during the 2016-19 and 2019-2022 terms. He is the Chief Executive of Central Motors, Rawalpindi, and a prominent figure in Pakistan’s business community. A Life Member of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1998, Sohail Altaf is actively involved in various trade and commercial organizations, including the PAK-AFGHAN Trade Committee, PAK-CHINA Business Council, Board of Investment, and the Standing Committee on Arts & Culture. He has served as President of the Pakistan Vocational Training Institute and Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Vice President & Zonal Chairman of FPCCI Islamabad Office, leading numerous committees and initiatives. Earlier in his career, he served as a Pilot Officer in the Pakistan Air Force and has been part of official delegations led by Pakistan’s government and ministries to countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, Thailand, and Bangladesh, as well as trade delegations to regions like Australia, Singapore, Turkey, USA, UK, and China, among others. He participated in the First National Security Workshop held by the National Defense College and has received numerous accolades, including the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2015. Additionally, he was awarded Gold Medals by the President of Pakistan in 2002 and the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2004 for his outstanding services to the business community.
